North Highlands 5th Annual Jubilee Took Place on Saturday, October 20th, 2007.
Events aimed largely at our younger community members appeared to be the overall theme of Saturday's event. Many of the area's business owners and civic agencies and groups showed support for the community. It was a grand turnout.
Great food from several of the community’s restaurants kept our hunger in check and demonstrations of goods and services were all around us. Bounce houses, slides, and face painting were available for the kids. Music along with various performances by local area school students were just a few of the events.
My attendance at the event was my first year and I will be back in years to come in the future photographing the event and having a booth where folks can come to have personal photos shot.
Supervisor, Roger Dickinson (District One), presented the Jubilee for the 5th year. Grant Union High School District sponsored the event. Many volunteers put long hours into making the event a true success.
Each year the event has grown. Thanks to all who participated.

With an anticipated 1800 players, and nearly 180 teams coming from hundreds of miles away, this proves to be an even more exciting event..
